Holiday Tourist Rental Decree 159/2012, of 20th November

      Emergency numbers posted (police, ambulance, etc.)
    • ‘Your Rights’ Poster (Hojas de Reclamacions)
    • 24/7 hour tenant/neighbour support in Catalan Minimum, English/ /Spanish
    • Certificate of Occupancy (cannot be exceeded)
  • Provide Online Instant Booking software or service
  • Market & manage third party booking sites (E.G. booking.com)
  • Collect and declare tourist taxes quarterly (Modelo 950)
  • Vet, transport, welcome & check out quests
Compliance Services:
  • Official forms for complaints, claims, & reporting (consum.gencat.cat/doc/doc_59629304_1.pdf)
  • 24-hour telephone support for guests & neighbours
    (Answered in 3 rings in at least Catalan)
  • Get a licence with the ‘Tourism Register of Catalunya’
    (subject to availability)
  • Help you pay Tourist taxes to ‘The Generalitat de Catalunya’ quarterly
  • Add guest info to ‘Registre de viatgers d’establiments d’hostalatge’ website (Mossos d’Esquadra & Hacienda)
